FROM FOOTWEAR TO ACOUSTICS

DIGITEX, a French industrial company located in the Maine et Loire (49) département, has been providing its industrial know-how through its different brands since 1987.

1987

Creation of DIGITEX to honour leather and industrial shoe and footwear fabrics in the Cholet region thanks to its founding know-how: soft material bonding.

1995

Creation of a range of wide, wall-decorating fabrics, bound to an acoustic material.

1996

Retirement of the Technical Manager, one of the two creators of DIGITEX. Arrival of Bruno CONCHE, a textile engineer, as Production Manager, and purchase of the DECOWEST SYSTEM patented installation system.

2000

Launch of the manufacture of AirFlex, a thin, aluminium and polyethylene-based thermal insulator which at the time was equivalent to 200 mm of glass wool insulation.

2005

Creation of the DIGISOL brand, a range of under screed and under floating floor acoustic insulators.

2012

Following the death of DIGITEX’s founder, Bruno CONCHE and Patrick ARRIVE, (DIGITEX’s accountant) join forces and take over the management of DIGITEX. Together they create the SENSORIA brand for wide, decorative wall fabrics and the TEMPO brand for acoustic absorption wall panels and coatings which combine acoustic comfort and decoration.

2017

DIGITEX becomes a representative for SOFT DB sound-masking products in France.

2018

DIGITEX has 16 employees and develops its TEMPO range for new markets (offices, design and acoustic improvement for workspaces and the hotel and catering industries).

2020

DIGITEX launches onto the international market, in particular in Germany, the United Kingdom, Belgium and the Netherlands.
