DIGISOL, A RANGE OF UNDER SCREED
AND UNDER FLOATING FLOOR
ACOUSTIC INSULATORS

Acoustic specialists refer to “impact sound“, any continuous annoyance caused on the floor (noise from heels, furniture being moved, children playing, etc.) which may generate noise that becomes unbearable for people in the surrounding area. Our DIGISOL range of under screed and under floating floor acoustic insulators provides effective acoustic insulation between two floors and therefore solves these problems.

Our acoustic insulator ranges

ACOUSTIC INSULATOR UNDER FLOATING SCREED

DIGITEX'S DIGISOL BRAND proposes a range of acoustic insulators under floating screed: DIGICHAPE 319 NF and DIGICHAPE 322. This range is completed by 3mm, 5mm and 8mm DIGIMOUSSE separating strips.

ACOUSTIC INSULATOR UNDER FLOATING FLOOR

DIGISOL also proposes a range of acoustic insulators under floating floors. The DIGISOL 180, 200, 280 and 300 products are acoustic insulators which separate the floating floor from the ground.

THE SOLUTION UNDER FLOATING SCREED: DIGICHAPE 319 NF AND 322

DIGICHAPE 319 NF AND 322 are acoustic insulators to be installed under floating screed. They separate the screed from the rest of the building and guarantee high performance acoustic insulation. DIGICHAPE 319 NF has an acoustic insulation index of ΔLw = 19 dB and DIGICHAPE 322 of ΔLw = 22 dB. They all have QB certification from the CSTB, guaranteeing their intrinsic quality and their longevity.

THE SOLUTION UNDER FLOATING SCREED: SEPARATION STRIPS

DIGIMOUSSE is a polyethylene-based product which enables the screed to be separated from the wall. It is a vital complement for the DIGICHAPE 319 NF and 322 and considerably improves the sound insulation in rooms when applied to all the vertical partitions in the space to be insulated. DIGIMOUSSE is available in 3 thicknesses (3 - 5 - 8 mm) and three heights (100 - 120 - 150 mm).

SOLUTIONS UNDER FLOATING FLOOR: DIGISOL 180 TO 300

From DIGISOL 180 CH (polyethylene foam, ΔLw = 19 dB) to DIGISOL 300 R-ADH (fibrous product with a sealing film and a high level of mechanical resistance, ΔLw = 21 dB), our wide range of insulators under floating floor provide a response to every need. In addition, our products are inert, non-allergenic, light and easy to apply. DIGISOL 180 and DIGISOL 200 CH (reticulated polyethylene foam, ΔLw = 20 dB) are compatible with under-floor heating.

acoustic performances

When a sound wave, which is multi-directional by nature, touches any object (floor, wall, chair, human being), one part crosses the object, one part is returned by the object and one part is absorbed by the object.

DIGISOL is the response to new standards which seek to reduce noise annoyance. DIGITEX’s DIGISOL products insulate and reduce the part of the sound wave which passes through the floor and annoys the occupants (transmitted intensity).

avec isolant acoustique DIGICHAPE 319 NF et DIGICHAPE 322

DIGISOL products are certified by the CSTB and characterised by the very high performance ΔLw acoustic insulation index expressed in decibels (dB). This has been measured in a laboratory, under standard conditions, to enable comparisons (report on request).

Regardless of the origin of the noise annoyance, excess noise in the environment inside a building may generate harmful effects for the occupants, whether they live or work there. In order to reduce the effects of noise, French acoustic regulations (NRA) have defined the criteria for tall new buildings and renovations according to their nature. The criteria mainly relate to:

> The annoyances from outside the building: traffic, plane, train

> The annoyances from inside the building: impact noise on the floors, noise from collective equipment (heat pumps, lifts, air conditioning, etc.) and insulation against noise from common movement spaces (hall, corridors, etc.).
