Acoustic TEMPO WALL in the hearing booths of the “ECOUTER VOIR” centres

The hearing booths in ECOUTER VOIR centres - a mutualist optical and hearing brand - are equipped with TEMPO WALL. So far, nearly 150 hearing rooms have been equipped, which represents around 33% of the French network's shops.

Deployment of the concept planned until 2025

Since 2019, DIGITEX has been listed among the manufacturers of acoustic wall fabric for the covering of hearing test booths and the light fixture at the entrance to the optical shop.

The roll-out to the other 300 centres in the french network is planned until 2024-2025. We are delighted to participate in the implementation of this new concept in all ECOUTER-VOIR shops in France.

THE INSTALLER :

“We are referenced by ECOUTER VOIR for the design and installation of the luminaires with acoustic covering installed in the Group’s new sales areas located in the area of ”La Vendée”. Although the concept is initially intended to be mass-produced, we work on a one-off basis, according to the demands of refurbishing the shops in the “Vendée” area. DIGITEX supplies us with the acoustic wall fabric and the DECOWEST SYSTEM installation system. We then cut the fabric to size and apply it to the plywood support of the luminaire.

TEMPO fabric fits perfectly with our product and is very easy to install thanks to the clamping rail system.”

Technical Information

• TEMPO MURAL + Ouate M1 – Width 2800 mm – Length depending on the area to be covered

“The initial need is to equip the ECOUTER VOIR centres’ hearing booths in which hearing measurements are taken, in this respect there is a reverberation rate to be respected. DIGITEX flexible coverings are referenced because they meet the specifications. The acoustic result is as good as we would expect in the booths. Some agencies have both optical and hearing activities. We have therefore added an acoustic wall covering to the light fixture in the optical reception area in order to create a link between the two spaces. So this is basically a purely aesthetic choice.”
